Can Valentine's be SPORTY?

For this brief, I chose to target a sports retailer called Route One

as the shop has a trendy but unique vibe. They combine the

best of skating culture and street fashion to help a diverse range

of voices be heard. The skating subculture values creativity,

risks, and freedom, which highlights Route One’s target

audience and type of customers.



The event I went with was Valentine’s Day. Having never created

work for this annual event, I wanted to step out of my comfort

zone and demonstrate another style of illustration.
